WMD Nominee - Application Form & Instructions

Dear WMD Nominee:
Congratulations! Your "Sponsor" (the person who invited you to WMD as her guest) has asked you to submit an application to Wednesday Morning Dialogue. Before you fill out this application, you must have attended at least 2 previous meetings of WMD with your Sponsor. Every applicant needs to be sponsored by a current member in good-standing, and the Sponsor needs to complete a Nominations form. Please make sure that your Sponsor is aware that you are filling out this Application, as it will not be considered without a corresponding Nomination form.

The Mission of WMD is "to gather together women in the community who have excelled in their field and profession; to provide them with an opportunity to become acquainted with each other and exchange ideas on topics of mutual interest; to encourage intellectual development and help open new vistas of thought."

We welcome new members who fulfill our goal to strengthen and deepen our membership with a broad representation of outstanding women. Applicants who will be given the highest consideration are those who excel in their professional field and/or personal endeavors and are looking to share and expand their horizons with other accomplished women. If you are interested in joining WMD, please make sure that you ask your Sponsor to answer any questions you may have about WMD before you fill out this application.

Once you have submitted a completed Application, the form will be forwarded to the WMD Board of Directors for approval. (Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered by the Board.) You will be notified when your Application and your Sponsor's Nomination form have been received by the Board.

WMD Nominees will be notified about their application status prior to the next WMD meeting. New members will be introduced to the membership at the next meeting following approval and will be be asked to submit her Annual Dues of $150 (if application received Jan-June) or $75 (if application received July-Oct) to the Vice President at registration. Annual Dues, thereafter, will be payable by January 1st.

Financial assistance is not available to new members at this time. Should you have any questions regarding your financial obligation as a member, please contact the Membership Chair before submitting your application. Financial inquiries are kept confidential.
